Kudos to the staff. They clearly have a strategy.

Build the roster from the inside out and bring in full classes each year of people ready to improve and compete. But also make it a point to protect the young guys as much as possible from being forced into action when they aren't ready. To do this, they've invested a lot of time into finding "stop gaps" at QB and on the OL (and a DL from Arizona, I think, last year?).

While this obviously isn't ideal, the staff is doing the best they can to appease the "win now" forces that are rampant in college sports while also sticking to a core philosophy of building the team's long-term trajectory. Will it work? Who knows. But at least there is a very clear plan, and the staff is balancing "win now" with "build the long-term vision."

It's incredible how much the perception has changed in a year - myself included - among the UVA fanbase. Bronco deserves major kudos for the job he has done in the past year to vastly improve the trajectory of UVA Football.
