Yeah... fishing for smallies. Water is so clear it's like an aquarium.


Love to look down on the water and see what's there. Not as good for fishing though.

I could see down about 25 feet... Which is crazy. Only can do that when the water gets low and cold.

Muskies are everywhere above Lynchburg. Still get a little freaked out when I see one, they're sooooo massive and intimidating looking. Had one eat a 16" smallie I had hooked a couple of years ago in the same location as yesterday... in one bite. Broke off in less than a minute... my heart was pounding for 30 mins. Was around 45"

We hooked a 40" above Glasgow a couple of years ago. Had it by the boat and took the hook out with pliers, but wasn't about to try and land it without a massive net or lip grippers. Buddy caught it in 6lb test!! We floated over it and he made the perfect cast.

I love clear deep water... you see some crazy stuff in the river.
