I do too, but all voices need to be heard.

I don't really understand the issues, and they don't affect me, but the relationship between the University and surrounding communities, it seems to me, have been uneasy for many years.

Without totally understanding what I'm talking about, it appears to me that Charlottesville is less embracing of the U than any other city in the Commonwealth is toward its "home university".

What would Charlottesville be without UVa. Yes, some of the residential areas would be very nice, but when I was a student, the city was a small and dumpy town.

Anyway, I'd really like to see softball get a new home, but I'm more interested in the facilities than I am with the location. I respect the views of those who would like to see it near central grounds, but neither baseball nor basketball nor soccer nor lacrosse has that luxury, so I'm not sure why it would be a showstopper for softball.

Why don't we want to fix in place?
