I agree with you on all counts. We came out with the hunger to win after the half. It made a huge difference in our play. As far as PG, we got off track with the loss of Venson. Last year was our best recruiting year by far, and I think that coach saw how well Nikki handled the ball and figured she could blend her into that fit until Tinsley matured. I also think she was counting on the French player (Toi?) to lead in the point position this year as well. Neither of those plans panned out. Tinsley is going have to get pushed into play more than she would have liked. Fortunately, she is getting better each game. Although she is still a peanut out there, she has learned not to go charging into the freight trains under the basket. I saw her pull back several times, and go back to team mates when I know she really wanted to drive in...good restraint! Still too many turnovers on her drives. In all honesty, that was something Venson never learned in her two seasons here. I like what I see in Tinsley so far. She has good game smarts, and seems to be learning quickly. We can only hope .... :)
