Lammers might actually be a decent matchup for Huff

...because they are a similar size, he is not tremendously quick, and is not really a power player either. He is a finesse guy. I'll bet Huff plays 15+ minutes when we play Georgia Tech and Salt sits a fair amount, though Salt has also already proven that he can also guard Lammers.

Let me just give you an example: If Wilkins were matched up against Huff, Wilkins would eat him alive. Would push him under the basket, would out-quick him to rebounds, would roll to the basket off of screens, would seal him off to the basket as the ball rotated, etc. And Wilkins is sort of a run-of-the-mill ACC big offensively. Pretty much every ACC team has at least a guy or two who would be a terrible matchup for Huff.

The question isn't whether some ACC bigs are bad matchups for Huff. The question is: does a team have ANY big that Huff can effectively guard, and do they run certain actions that are going to expose Huff defensively? If the answers to those questions are YES and NO, respectively, then he will probably play decent minutes in that game.
