I'm glad the US is turning over the roster. International soccer ...


is a young man's game. The US keeps acting like soccer players in their late 20s and early 30s are at their peak. It's not basketball or baseball. It's a lot like American football. Player peak in their mid 20s with the exception of some central defenders and goalies.

Against Portugal today, there were some strong / fast and even skilled players who looked pretty good. I wish they would go abroad earlier to test themselves. It would do them a lot of good. The US soccer academies do a great job locating talent. However, they have no clue how to get them to top club level.
