I expect a neutral site game. Also, this one matters for the Hokies.

Hokies have "nothing to play for" except that each VT football team doesn't want to be the one that loses to Virginia. When you've won 13 in a row, you don't want to be the team that loses that streak. And the fans don't want to lose that streak, either. This is, essentially, the Bowl Game for both teams. Yes, we'll each play a game in late December, but this game means a whole lot more than anything either team will do in the Belk Bowl or Sun Bowl or Military Bowl.

The rational VT fans will admit that they aren't ready to compete with the "big boys" of the CFB world just yet. But the dominance against Virginia validates that they are a class above the "also-rans" in the ACC. They can't win the ACC, they can't win the division, but dammit they can win the Commonwealth for the 14th consecutive time. That's something.

Don't kid yourself. This game probably means more for the Hokies than it does for the Hoos. UVA has 6 wins - anything else from here is gravy for Bronco. The Hokies need to beat Virginia to continue their upward trajectory under Coach Fuente toward competing with the Clemson's and FSU's of the world. A loss to an inferior program would be a major step in the wrong direction, and would show that they really aren't close yet.

Also, I think a crowd of 50k-55k sounds about right. With approximately 20k Hokies making the trip. This will feel like a bowl game atmosphere, and should be a lot of fun (so long as the game remains competitive, this could be a really fun late night on Friday).
