Except for the few schools like UConn, getting 15 quality


players seems to be a problem. Maybe it's that the talent pool isn't that deep and broad. So when you're bringing in some 3 and maybe 2 start recruits, some don't pan out, or they will require a couple of years to develop. Then, there's the issue of injuries that occur. Women are more susceptible to certain injuries, so you have to live with that. Just to be able to practice and have 5 on 5, accounting for injuries and sickness, it seems 12 or 13 is a minimum number.
