I think it was the Hanfmann vs Justin Shane clincher from the year

where we had a rain delay and the match was moved indoors. I wasn't there but I remember a ton of complaints about Hanfmann's line calls from people who were there and from posters on the board. I also remember seeing a few while watching on that little live stream that were questionable and contested by the UVA players/coaches. I think that's the match referenced above. I'm pretty sure by the end, Shane was close to being penalized for overrules while Hanfmann only had one overrule all match.

I watched a lot of UVA matches in person during that era of UVA tennis. What I remember from that period were players being very good at calling balls on the line out and fist pumping or celebrating like it wasn't even close. Typically it was done on the far side where umps couldn't see it well. I hate to name names, but Shabaz was good at that too. USC players were some of the best at it as well.

Tennis is a sport of millimeters so it's no surprise that there will be close calls. And outside of the handful of well respected chair umps that do all the very big matches, you're not going to find officials getting every call right with exceptional accuracy. So it's an easy thing to take advantage of.
