My friend is convinced that Red Zone is why ratings are down


or partially why they are down. Sunday, Monday and TH night games have just had bad matchups but he tells me he doesn't watch games anymore with the red zone.

I don't know how true it is, but I can imagine that if a large chunk of people are watching red zone rather than the actual game, the ratings will indicate a drop in TV viewership even though the same number of people are watching football
