I've been following UVa basketball for nearly fifty years

and nearly every staff has said, prior to the season, that the team would run more and play with more tempo. It has rarely happened, with the possible exception of Gillen. There have been bumps in pace, but nothing that was that noticeable. Yes, Virginia will run on occasion this year, but I very much doubt if anyone will notice a significant difference from past seasons. Additionally, if the 'win' total approaches or exceeds 30, the perceived recruiting issues will be solved. Of course, if it isn't pace, there will be some other issue that fans will insist is holding Virginia back. Academics? Housing facilities? Urban setting (lack thereof)? Shoe company? An aggressive assistant responsible for recruiting? AAU connections? It will be something. Regardless, I expect to watch the team continue to win and do well. Go 'Hoos!!!
