We didn't have an experienced QB last year? It was KB's first start

You also must look at the sum of the parts. We lost quite a bit on defense very early on, starting with Cook at OLB right before the season. Then we lost 3-4 corners. That's an awful lot for a defense to recover from, in my opinion.
The add to the fact we lost our fg kicker to injury, then another was kicked off the team or something...then KB is hurt on a sack vs. UConn.
I say we limped through decent and competed. All of those trials by fire will pay big dividends this year when we start winning again.
