Re: Not sure but Duke does it all the time.

The PG year sure worked for Michael Kraus & us. Does anyone remember Van Arsdale's last attack unit at Virginia & really think that Kraus wouldn't have been able to help us straight out of New Canaan? Looking at the offensive midfield, we have returning Aitken, Emery, Lamb, Conrad, Murray. All have either started or played some significant minutes already. Harris, Maloney, Kellogg, Moore, Wellford & others would be competing with them for time. Wellford is a star player coming from a non hotbed into a crowded competition at his position although I have no idea how ready he is. Refining your skills for a year in the always tough Founder's league against D1 recruit defenders every week sounds like a good situation for him & us. That is a whole lot better than the possibility of getting a few reserve minutes against our weaker opponents.
