Matthew Lord was listed as a UVA committmnent on the website and still

is on one list on the website, but not on other parts of this website. I have no idea if something has happened. I think poster 22903 has the best UVA information, so maybe he knows? His last post on this matter said that both blue chips were coming

Lord is from Connecticut so he may have to pay$30/$40K with probably a 40% schollie (4.5 max men's scholarships allowed divided by roughly 12 players computes to a 37.5% average schollie per player.

I n previous years with more in state recruits on the team (I think Only one (Alhogbani) will be on the team next year), it was easier to give a higher percentage to OOS/foreign players and a lower percentage to in state guys in order to somewhat equalize the out of pocket costs, if that is what Boland wanted to do. I know nothing about Lord's financial situation, but as the number 7/8 recruit in the country, he may able to get a near full ride somewhere else. I sure hope he is still coming to UVA, but if Tsygura comes and Pedroso can get a top foreigner we will still be a good shape for next year.
