Aren't those stats a bit deceiving however? It's % that go onto to D1 FB


programs. If you have a lower participation rate (with more kids playing soccer, Lax, etc. vs Texas where everyone wants to play FB) combined with many more D1 programs in surrounding states (smaller ones that can't realistically and don't recruit in TX, CA, etc.) it stands to reason that the % going on to D1 programs would be higher. That doesn't necessarily equate to being some great recruiting area if they're mostly MAC, CUSA, etc. level players.

But I definitely agree the Hoos would benefit greatly from being more effective in that area, without a doubt.
