Yes he said those things specifically. I actually asked him the question

in public, if you will, essentially this - "given the way the game is moving, both at the pro and college level, and also considering our offensive struggles this past year, does the coaching staff intend to make any significant changes in our offensive sets, for example, moving away from blocker-mover and more to pick and pop, pick and roll, etc.?"

His response, again in public, was specific - that they intend for us to get out and run more, to pick and pop, pick and roll, whatever our guys are good at. Seems like, as I stated earlier, that CTB was really, really unhappy with what happened during the Florida game, and is committed to finding a solution on the offensive side of the ball, without sacrificing the defense we hang our hats on.

It was really good to hear. He shared some other things in private that I don't think I should publicize here, but he's really excited about the prospects for Ty, Kyle, Mamadi, Jay and DeAndre (no particular order there). Did say that even though Jay's put on a lot of weight since he arrived, he still needs to get stronger. Also mentioned that throughout the early parts of the season this past year, the entire coaching staff felt they needed to find a way for Ty to get more court time, but as one would expect CTB preferred to stay with his experienced players early on.

Also seemed very excited about the Rutgers transfer, that he will give us immediate scoring and great on-ball defense, something our other guards may not be great at yet (the defense part).
