Wireless has a certain latency, but that's getting to the point where it's


pretty low. And so yes, there's theoretically a limit to how snappy a wireless connection can display pages for basic browsing etc, but the throughput capabilities of just about any wifi router that's been sold in the past few years far exceeds 45mbps. So it's unlikely to affect download speeds for large files/streaming/etc, but if you care about webpages loading in 0.10ms instead of 0.15ms, there's theoretically a slight issue with wireless.

I'd say allow yourself 10mbps for any streaming devices + 5mbps for any computer's basic internet needs and another 3-5mbps for any tablet's internet needs. i.e. if you have 1 Apple TV, 2 computers and 1 tablet, I wouldn't go any slower than 20-25mbps.
