A few things that I try to do (and am sometimes successful)


1) set aside some time every day to get out of the house. If you're at work all day, then at home in the evening you can get into a rut. I take the dog out mid-afternoon every day. A couple mile walk is good to refresh the mind. I figure it's no different than shooting the breeze with co-workers

2) Try not to eat at your desk. Sit down and eat at a table. This will help refocus your mind and keep your eating in better check.

3) decide what you're going to eat for lunch / snacks that morning/the night before. It's too easy to walk over and graze between calls.

4) figure out how to better connect with your colleagues. working remotely can kill your internal networking and you need to be intentional on building and maintaining the network.
