Groh's defenses were solid to good


the biggest issue I had with his defense wasnt 3-4 or 4-3 related. I thought he wasnt aggressive enough. Granted most of our talent was in the front 7 so we had to protect poorer secondary talent than up front BUT that's on routinely recruiting top notch corners and safeties.
If Groh would have been more competent in passing offense he may still be here. We hardly ever had high level WRs and his QB development was about as bad as it gets.
