are not made by the on-field crew, and they don't even explain them to the managers.

After last night, I'd be happy if MLB would simply can C B Bucknor, who clearly doesn't have any idea where the strike zone "corners" are.

Bucknor is the poster child for what's wrong with MLB calls. He's been terrible for 14 years, yet nothing is done about it. He gives a bad name to all those umpires (90% of them) who really are terrific at what they do.

MLB umps have more job security than a second grade teacher in most public schools around the country.
