It's immaterial since Miss.St. won, but can someone explain

this: When the flagrant foul was committed, there were 1:06 left on the clock. The foul was not immediately called and play continued until the next dead ball. Then the official review. The flagrant 1 was awarded, but no time was put back on the clock. Why, if the foul was indeed committed, was the time not put back on the clock to 1:06? Like I said, it is now immaterial since Miss St. won, but it could have been a collossal FU had they lost. Bad officiating or have I missed something. And while I'm ranting, how much time can elapse before officials can go back in time and review a play?
