Lesson in the evolution of a sport. Two questions.

How was the increase of teams in D1 lax changed the game?
What will be the next changes?

My answers:
I think about the lesson of Northwestern taking over the ladies game fifteen (?) years ago. They had a good coach who sought athletes first and skills second. Discipline, team oriented mentality and athleticism were the priorities and they took over for a great run.

I always marveled when Dom found an athlete who became a great lax player. Teams in the ACC started to be more physical and big and UVa's prototype skilled player became a less dominant player.

Future
The players are going to get much bigger and less skilled. Rules will change.
