My thoughts are yes this is a young team but


winning a few games in the NIT will serve little if any purpose for next year. The experience of playing and possibly winning a game in the NCAAs is more important IMO.

And most importantly If the program wants to get to the next level it has to start recruiting better. No one wants to go to a school that doesn't play in the NCAAs. Our freshmen class is great and they were a nice up bump up from the usual, but we need 4 years worth of classes like them. It says something about our program if we can't make it to the NCAAs in as many years as it's been.
