He started ok, then got too quick after blocking breakdowns


You can practice all kinds of things, but you can't be completely prepared for what the opposing teams will do. The second half of the Pittsburg game got him off track and he never really recovered. Hopefully, last year will serve as his adjustment period.

But you raise a good point in that he may not be able to adjust as teams figure out ways to rattle him. That is always a big possibility and one of the reasons it is so hard to gauge the value of a QB before he gets behind center.
