Re: I don't know, but when you play the best player on a top 10 team, he is

Here are my thoughts based on what I saw at the match against Florida.

CA - He is the best ball striker on the team. He hits with a velocity that I don't see from the other guys. He seems to have matured a lot since his freshman year too. He's still fiery, but not in such a volatile manner like he was as a frosh.

TSK - He is playing #2 because he's very good, but not quite on the same level as CA. He's above CS because he's more consistent and has the experience to grind out wins at #2 if he's outmatched.

CS - He's a big guy. He's very thick and muscular. His thighs are huge. He has all the shots. I overheard somebody say that his footwork is excellent and that he's always in the right spot to hit a shot. He also has a really good feel for the court. He seems to know where to hit it and when to mix up his shots. His biggest deficiencies are his inconsistency and what I thought was a tendency to overhit when he gets in a baseline rally. He's very talented though, and I could see him playing #2 later this season, but I'm not sure he's ready to play #1.

AR - He hits such a flat ball. It really moves too. He seems a bit inconsistent right now. He's streaky. He's a clear notch above JCA though. (Edit: I should have said more clearly that AR's talent level is a notch above JCA but JCA's consistency makes them almost interchangeable.)

JCA - He's so consistent. I don't think he's the ball striker that AR is, but he's more consistent. He's rock steady.

HW - He shouldn't lose a match at #6. He's a #4 playing at #6. He's feisty and reminds me a bit of Sanam Singh because of how he really tries to pound the ball despite his relative lack of size.

Luca - Still has that huge serve and he plays really well at the net. He's a great guy to have on the team. He's really into the team and it shows when he's cheering on his teammates during singles play. If he meshes well with CS, they could be a very formidable #1 doubles team.
